Condition

This wonderful collage of Verifax (an early photocopier) images overlaid onto paperboard is in good condition. The images themselves are all meticulously cut and married together. The paperboard mount is a cream color. Close examination shows several small areas of minute losses in the mount's surface, as well as several light warm-toned stains. These issues do not detract from this object's generally fine appearance. As is typical of Berman's collages, the frame consist of four slats of rough wood nailed into the secondary wood mount. In addition to the gallery labels on the reverse are two paper labels: one inscribed 'Klagsburn ICA,' the other inscribed '9993.'
