Condition

These photographs, on semi-glossy paper and mounted to cream-colored board, are in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination and in raking light, the following are visible on some of the prints: occasional tiny deposits of retouching in the white area; a few tiny-to-small losses of emulsion along the upper edge of one print; and a tiny adhesion of indeterminate nature on two prints. The mounts are age-appropriately darkened at the periphery, and corners are bumped. On the reverse of each print, 'REM 4' is written in an unidentified modern hand in pencil. When examined under ultraviolet light, these prints do not appear to fluoresce.
