the photographer's Magnum copyright and Magnum Photos release stamps, the latter signed in pencil, and with annotations and reduction notations in pencil and ink on the reverse, 1958

Condition

This photograph, trimmed to the image and on double-weight semi-glossy Agfa paper, is in generally very good condition. In raking light, a number of soft and hard creases are visible overall, some of which appear to break the emulsion slightly. The upper right corner is creased, which breaks the emulsion. Chipping and tiny losses of emulsion are visible primarily along the right and lower edges. On the reverse of the print are the following notations in pencil, unless otherwise specified: '6' (circled and underlined twice); '20,6;' '68-3-46/32' ('32' circles in pink ink); '69 / 24734;' '11' (in purple ink); and 'California' (in black ink). There are abrasions to the paper-ply in the corners.
