Condition
This ferrotyped print is in generally very good condition. As is typical of ferrotyped prints, occasional pitting, hairline surface scratches, and a slight unevenness to the glossy surface are visible in raking light. A few deposits of original retouching are visible overall upon close inspection. There is a small handling crease in the upper left quadrant, which does not appear to break the emulsion. The print is trimmed to the image, and the corners are lightly creased with a few resultant tiny chips of emulsion.
On the reverse of the print, '259_. .' is stamped in purple ink. Also on the reverse are the following notations in pencil, unless otherwise indicated: '167,' '48' (circled), '175 mm,' '38' (twice, in pink and blue inks), and 'Pic. Sc. 132 A' (in blue ink).
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce.
