- Gelatin silver print
signed, titled, and dated in pencil and with the photographer's credit stamps and annotations on the reverse, circa 1958
Provenance
Bonni Benrubi Gallery, New York, 1996
Condition
This early print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good condition. The edges are rubbed, and there are tiny losses, primarily at the upper and lower edges and at the corner tips. The corners are bumped, and the upper right corner has a crease that breaks the emulsion.
When examined in raking light, the following are visible: 2 circular indentations in the lower right quadrant; and tiny deposits of original retouching overall.
The reverse is lightly soiled, and the corner crease is visible. The annotations 'L538' and 'CD8049' are in pencil at the lower edge.
