Condition
This photograph, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good to excellent condition. Upon close examination in raking light, the following are visible: faint silvering at the periphery and in the margin; 4 small, soft handling creases in the upper left and lower portion of the image; and a few small impressions overall, none of which appears to break the emulsion. The margin corners and edges are rubbed, with minimal resultant chipping. The reverse of the print is soiled from use and handling. Notations on the reverse of the print include: '#4555 Vogue' (circled), '11807a,' and '6/15/38 / p. 57.' There is a small modern Condé Nast barcode label in the lower right corner.
