Condition

This early print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, a number of tiny deposits of original retouching are visible overall. The margin corners are lightly bumped. On the reverse of the mount are the following numerical notations in pencil: '6' (circled), '110,' '26' (circled), and '56/2580/015.' A second signature by Ellen Auerbach also appears partially erased. Adhesive, tape, and paper remnants on the reverse of the print indicate that this print was previously affixed to a mount.
