Condition
This early ferrotyped print is in generally good condition. The edges are rubbed, and there are small losses at the periphery of the print. Issues typical of ferrotyped prints are visible when examining the print in raking light: tiny, random pitting of the surface, minimal in this case; fingerprints; and faint scratches on the surface. Also visible in raking light are small sharp creases, mostly near the edges; and what appears to be a small deposit of original retouching in the lower central portion; and small indentations that do not break the emulsion.
There are 2 rust-colored adhesive remains in the upper corners on the reverse. Penciled notations on the reverse of the print are as follows: '2' (circled); '2.1.1/3/15,' 'SG/4188/0,' 'LMS 396.70L,' and 'DB' (circled).
When examined with ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
