Condition

This photograph, on double-weight semi-glossy paper, is in generally good condition. In the lower left corner, there are 4 sharp creases (the largest measuring 2½-inches) that appear to break the emulsion. In the upper right portion of the image are 3 small creases that do not appear to break the emulsion. In high raking light, the following are visible: a few pen-point-sized impressions that do not appear to break the emulsion primarily along the upper edge; swipes to the semi-glossy surface; and impressions from the writing on the reverse of the print. On the reverse of the print are the following notations in ink: 'Photo / Wolfgang Schulze / 81 rue du Bac, Paris,' 'Sabine Hettner' (somewhat illegible), and 'N. 207.' 'WOLS' is written in an unidentified hand.
