Condition
Grading this albumen print on a scale of 1 to 10 -- 10 being an albumen print that has deep brown dark tones and highlights that retain all of their original detail -- this print rates 7. The tones remain strong and with rich detail in the center images, but have lost some intensity in the outer images. This album leaf is in generally very good to excellent condition. A thin piece of paper tape runs the length of the leaf along the left edge. In letterpress is the following: 'A. Calavas Editeur, - 68, Rue de Lafayette, PARIS.' The mount is age-appropriately darkened at the periphery of the front and on the reverse. On the reverse of the mount, '80-' and '38' are written in an unidentifed hand in pencil.
