Provenance
Howard Greenberg Gallery, New York, 1994
Condition
This photograph, on double-weight matte-surface paper, is in generally excellent condition. A fine patina of silvering is visible, primarily at the print's periphery. Small paper remnants on the reverse of the print and on the mount suggest that this print was once also affixed to the mount along its bottom edge. On the reverse of the mount are the following printing notations in pencil: '10+10+'7' and '3.'
The large tan mount is lightly soiled and darkened from handling. Robinson Jeffers's signature in ink is partially smudged. On the reverse of the mount, there are abrasions to the small paper label with typed credit and title.
