  • Pen and brown ink and wash (recto); black chalk (verso) on gray-green paper

Condition

Window mounted. Some gray and brown staining scattered to the upper right section of the drawing and towards the lower margin and the right lower edge. Surface dirt. The media is fresh and the paper although stained is not discolored.

Catalogue Note

This very interesting study is reminiscent especially of the work of Pordenone (1483-1539) but also shows similarities with Lombard masters such as Ambrogio Figino (1548-1608).
