The following condition report has been provided by Simon Parkes of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc. 502 East 74th St. New York, NY 212-734-3920, simonparkes@msn.com, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's. The condition of this work, like its mate (lot 31), is very good. The canvas is joined vertically through the middle. The lining is also an old wax lining. Although there are a few retouches in a few spots in the upper center sky, the condition here is also extremely good. The work can be hung as is.
