The sculpture is in good condition. There is some evidence of very minor oxidation scattered on the surface of the work, which is consistent with its age and medium. There are scattered specks where the patina is a bit rubbed, mostly on the sharp corners, and is thus comparatively slightly more shiny. A few tiny puncture marks are evident on the chest area of the main figure, but is likely consistent with the creative process of the artist. Some light dust accretion is evident in the crevices, but overall the condition of the artwork is good and sound. The beautiful rich texture of the surface and the welding, with its shimmers of gold, are more apparent in reality.
