Condition
This painting is in good condition overall, as is the canvas, which is taut. The paint layers are intact. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a few scattered minor spots of retouching in the upper left quadrant (elbow area and on the hair of the figure), along the upper left edge, and in the corners. The colors in the catalogue illustration are quite accurate although warmer and more golden in reality. Framed.
