Condition
This painting is in good condition overall, as is the canvas and the panel, with no indication of cracks or warping. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no evidence of retouching. The colors are brighter and more dynamic with the background less blue, which makes the yellow tones in the bananas more prominent than in the catalogue illustration. The brushwork and paint surface is beautifully textured in reality. Framed.
