Der Walliser Maler Raphy Dallèves legt sein Augenmerk auf das Erzählerische – er schildert mit grosser Liebe zum Detail Szenen aus dem dörflichen Leben, feiert in seiner dichten Malerei das ruhige Glück in der harmonischen Gemeinschaft von Mensch, Tier und kultivierter Natur unter sommerlichem Himmelszelt und unter dem Schutz der orientierenden Kirche. Die dicht stehenden Wohn- und Wirtschaftsbauten schirmen vor jedwelcher Unbill, sind Sinnbild für Heimat. Vor solcher Kulisse ist das Spiel der drei Mädchen mit ihren Ziegen ungetrübtes Idyll; die Kinder verweilen ernsthaft gelassen, zwischen Herbstzeitlosen sitzend, während der markante Faltenwurf ihrer sonntäglichen Tracht gleichsam als Zitat der Gebirgstopographie ihrer Lebenswelt gelesen sein möchte.
