Condition

Original canvas. The paint surface is slightly dirty and there are some small areas of paintloss to the right hand edge and top right corner of the work. UV light reveals an uneven layer of opaque varnish and spots of retouching along the right hand edge. There is some infilling to previous paintloss to the right hand portion of the work and further smaller areas of retouching elsewhere. Held in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
