Original canvas. The paint surface is dirty, mainly to the thick impasto. There is a chip of paintloss to the upper right corner, with further few flecks on paint loss in the upper right quadrant. There are a few fine lines of craquelure to the left of the signature and above the mountain peak. UV light reveals a small area of retouching to the shrub in the upper left of the signature.
