Condition
The canvas has been strip lined and is a little loose on the stretcher. The paint surface is slightly dirty with vertical lines of craquelure running throughout the canvas. There si a small hole about half way down the right hand side, approximately 3cm from the inner frame edge. There is some paint loss to the upper left quadrant and lower left corner. UV light reveals an uneven layer of fluourescent varnish but no apparent retouching. Held in a modern wooden frame with a small loss top left. Unexamined out of frame.
