Condition

Original canvas. There is a layer of surface dirt and yellowed varnish and a few very minor flecks of paint loss to the lower right quadrant of the work. UV light reveals an uneven layer of fluorescing varnish. The work would benefit from having this varnish layer removed. Held in a gold painted plaster and wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
