Condition
The board is sound. There are areas of paint loss to the upper left corner and to the sky approximately 3 cm below, to the lower left corner and some areas along the lower edge. There are flecks of paint loss in the upper right corner and to the lower quadrants. The surface is slightly dirty. UV light reveals areas of retouching in the aforementioned areas of paint loss and further dots of retouching to the lower quadrant of the painting as well as strenghtening to the signature. There are signs of retouching to the central mountain range in the middle of the composition. Held in a wooden frame unexamined out of frame.
