- A group of six illustrations for Pushkin's Eugene Onegin
- all signed variously in Cyrillic, one dated 1946, one dated 1949
- watercolour, gouache and charcoal over pencil on paper
- largest: 39.6 by 29cm, 15 1/2 by 11 1/4 in.; smallest: 25.5 by 18.7cm, 10 by 7 1/2 in.
Condition
There is a light layer of surface dirt and the sheets has slightly discoloured. There are minor creases, flecks of paint loss and light stains.
A lady with a red dress:
There are a number of small tears and creases resulting in paint loss around the edges.
Tatiana at night:
There is a long scratch to the middle with resulting paint loss.
Family scene:
The paper is undulated, mostly to the top and bottom edges.
All held in a matching wooden gold painted frames under glass. Unexamined out of frames.
