Condition

2 individual costumes for Kovalev: Both sheets appear sound, although the paper is a little discoloured. The under drawings are visible in places. The colours are fairly fresh. Composite designs: Each comprising several designs on several sheet of paper, which have been glued together. There are areas of thick white gouache on two of the designs, possibly correcting some errors or stains ( probably painted by the artist) apart from some surface smudges and minor stains, the overall condition is good and the colours are fresh. Held in matching modern frames painted in gold. Unexamined out of frame.
