Condition
There is a small chip to the board just below the cherub's left hand. There are light abrasions and small flecks of paint loss to the edges, possibly from the frame. There is a layer of surface dirt and discoloured varnish. The work would benefit from a surface clean by a professional restorer. UV light suggests there is some restoration to the aforementioned chip, otherwise no apparent retouching is visible. Held in a gold painted wooden frame with some losses to the moulding. Unexamined out of frame.
