of circular cushion form, the surface of royal blue translucent enamel over banded wavy engine-turning, the lid inset with a part-enamelled 10 rouble gold coin of Empress Catherine II dated 1766, chased laurel borders, struck with workmaster's initials GS (Cyrillic) and Nilouram, 56 standard
Condition
One area of the side at one o'clock successfully restored. The hinge has broken necessitating a small repair.
