Description

circular, the surface of translucent pale blue enamel over radiating engine-turned waves, the border cast and chased as a coiling snake, the bezel set with seed pearls, containing a photograph of a lady, probably Baroness Aline von Gasser, the reverse stamped H. Laurent, St Petersburg, ivory back, silver scroll strut, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard

Condition

The silver and enamel are in excellent condition (though the silver may have been gilded which has now worn), the ivory back with loss to one side.
