comprising eighteen tablespoons, eighteen demi-tasse spoons, eighteen gilded dessert spoons, seventeen ice cream spoons, eighteen teaspoons, thirty-six forks, eighteen gilded dessert forks, thirty-six knives with original steel blades, eighteen gilded dessert knives with silver blades, eighteen fish forks with mother of pearl handles, eighteen fish knives with mother of pearl handles and silver blades, a pair of salad servers, two fish slices, two large serving spoons, a ladle, two small slices, a scoop, a carving knife with silver blade, a cheese knife with silver blade, and ten other serving spoons and scoops, all engraved with Latin initials VG below a princely coronet, for Prince Viktor Gagarin, 84 standard, most in the original oak case from the Magasin Anglais with brass fittings
