Condition
Original canvas. There is a layer of surface dirt. There are flecks of paint loss in places throughout, vertical lines of craquelure. Spots of infilling in a darker pigment are visible in the lower left corner and there are spots of media staining on the right hand side. UV light reveals sweeping retouching along the lower quarter and in a few places elsewhere. Some pigments flouresce under UV. Held in a gold painted frame. Unexamined out of frame.
