  • Sleeping Beauty signed and inscribed in Latin and dated 1922; Boris Godunov signed with initials in Latin and variously inscribed; Falstaff: signed with initials in Latin and dated 1948; the other two designs signed and inscribed in Latin and dated 1927 and 1928 respectively

Condition

Falstaff: Watercolour and ink on paper. The surface is a bit dirty with a few spots of minor foxing. The paper is a bit buckled along the lower edge. Held in a wood frame with cloth slip and under glass. Unexamined out of frame. Boris Gudonov: Watercolour and pencil on paper heightened with gold paint. The surface is dirty and there are a few minor stains, including on in the u.l. corner. Framed under glass and with cloth matte. Unexamined out of frame. Man with Key: Watercolour and ink on paper with what appears to be a slight glaze on top of the ink portion of the composition. The work has some smudges and minor stains and a few spots of very minor foxing. Held in a wood frame and under glass with cloth matte. Unexamined out of frame. Les Messagers: watercolour and gouache on paper heightened with gold. The surface is a bit dirty and there are some minor stains in each of the four corners of the composition. The paper is buckled and has some minor creasing. Held in a wooden frame, under glass with cloth matte. Unexamined out of frame.
