Landscape with a stone wall: The sheet has a tiny tear, scuffs and rubbings to the bottom lower inner frame edge.There are a few spots of foxing in places. The sheet is dirty and has discoloured. Held in a gold painted bamboo shaped frame. Landscape with wooden church: There is a tiny tear to the bottom inner frame edge. There are spots of foxing in places. In his 1883 biography of Romme, Romme Montagnard, Marc de Vissac writes that Count Paul Stroganov invited Andrey Voronikhin to accompany him and his tutor on their travels across Russia from 1783-5.
