  • the oklad apparently Moscow, the date obscured and with Cyrillic initials AP, probably for Alexander Panfilov; also with scratched weight, the reverse with a paper tag from the retailer Kalashnikov
  • Tempera on wood, gilded silver, pastes

the icon with SS. John, Nikolai, Elizaveta, and Darya in the borders, the oklad richly chased and repoussé with scrolling vines and strapwork and set with halos of multicolored faceted pastes

overall good condition, the icon with some slight surface cracks and the edges of the oklad with slight dents
