  • Oil on wood, gilded silver, velvet backing
  • 14 1/2 x 11 1/2 in.

the gilded silver oklad richly chased and repoussé with scrolls, shellwork, and floral ornament, the halos formed from separate rays

Condition

some loss to icon surface from back of oklad and with wood panels added along the sides, the oklad with some slight bending to the end of the halo's rays and with one prong loose, some denting to edges and corners
