the underside with label inscribed 9064 / 500. Re-gilt, top later-painted.
Condition
Overall fair condition; sturdy; the paint to the top is later; re-gilt; the top with large chips and losses to painted decoration and with old warpage now corrected with a later batten of wood to the underside at the back; the frieze with some small losses to composition decoration in in places; chips and losses to the gilding and gesso throughout with some areas of inpainting; possibly originally painted; old repaired break to top of back left leg.
