Description

  • the first with gilt signature under tail, the second marked for Asprey on base rim and stamped 925

  • gold, quartz
  • length of longest 9 1/4 in.
  • 23.5 cm
both with gold claws, noses and ears and set with diamond eyes, one chewing on a log; the other on an oval brown agate base mounted with a gold band, with fitted Asprey presentation case.

Condition

the first with cracks at front legs and one chip but stable, second good condition. The beaver eating a log is 18K gold. The one on the platform is probably 18K. The band around the platform is silver-gilt and marked accordingly. Also please note that this beaver is missing two gold toenails.
