Condition
The canvas has been lined. The surface of the work is in fair condition apart from apparent pressed craquelure which has caused tiny areas of paint loss in the sky, top center, visible upon close inspection. The background flat from previous cleaning. Under UV: the backround obscured by a thick uneven varnish. Only a few scattered spots of inpainting visible.
