Condition

The canvas is lined. The surface of the work is in good condition. Under UV light: scattered heightening and inpainting throughout, including but not limited to the outline of the hills, the distant trees, more heavily inpainted areas include a large section of the sky top right, near the left edge at center and several areas along the lower edge of the canvas. Repaired tears in the meadow at left above the dog's head, and near the keeper's right leg extending across his bag. Ready to hang.
