Condition
The canvas is lined, with a rippled appearance. The surface of the work is in fair condition with apparent craquelure and pigment separation throughout, much of it lifting, and scattered tiny losses. The varnish soaked through the craqulure onto the reverse of the canvas. Stretcher bar marks and frame abrasion.
