Condition

The canvas is lined. The surface of the work is in generally good condition, apart from a repaired tear lower right, patched on the reverse; a further repair along the top edge at center. Stretcher bar marks. Pressed craquelure throughout, the craquelure apparent and lifting slightly in several areas of the sky, with a few tiny scattered losses. Slight frame abrasion.
