Condition
The canvas has been lined. The surface of the work is in good condition apart from apparent craquelure most visible in the sky, including regular diagonal fissures throughout. Stretcher mark along the top. Frame abrasion and a few small losses along the top and right edges. A possible repaired tear bottom right near the signature. Under UV: A thick masking varnish throughout. Repaint apparent throughout the grass, mostly obscured by the varnish. Possible repaint to the dogs.
