A Chinese export wallpaper panel late 18th/early 19th century

Mounted on canvas and later-framed.

Overall fair condition; made up of two wall paper panels; the seam runs down the middle as visible in the catalogue illustration and with some slight yellowing and discoloration to panels along that join. Some very minor losses to edges of panels toward the bottom of the panels at the seam; lower part of the right panel with cracks and some minor inpainting; the top of the right panel with a horizontal age crack; otherwise the panels are in good condition and are very well-painted and the colors are vibrant. The giltwood frame with some small chips and losses and nicks.
