Spaniel Retrieving a Pheasant: Trimmed to the edges. Otherwise in good condition apart from mat stain and the occasional inconspicuous fox mark. Glued at the corners to a supporting sheet of paper. Laying Down the Law, after Sir Edwin Landseer, sheet 27 by 28 1/2 in.; 68.6 by 72.4 cm. Fox marks visible throughout, front and back. The front with light and mat stain, the margins abraded so that the title, artist and printer information cannot be read. Lettering written in pencil over the abraded surface at the bottom of the print. The reverse with mat stain and damp stain. Taped to the front mat around the edges. The remaining 3 prints not examined out of the frame.
