Condition
The canvas is lined. The surface of the work is in generally good condition. Frame abrasion to the outer edges, several areas of pressed craquelure in the dogs and the background, lifting slightly in the white terrier. The background very thin and flat.
King Charles Spaniel: 20 1/2 by 24 1/8 in.; 52.1 by 61.3 cm. Apparent craquelure throughout, the varnish separating. Frame abrasion. Tiny scattered losses.
