Condition

The canvas has been relined. The picture surface is in generally good condition, though the work does have a somewhat yellowed varnish. Under UV: the majority of the sky in the upper left corner has been inpainted. There are also lesser scattered inpaints throughout the work, scattered through the figure's dress, around the shawl and book and right side of the boat and three small spots scattered along the right edge.
