  • Porcelain
comprising a circular footed compote, a sauce tureen and cover, two square dishes, four shell-shaped dishes, a lobed dish and twelve dessert plates, the plates with the crowned ROYAL PORCELAIN WORKS FLIGHT, BARR AND BARR marks printed in iron-red and the serving pieces with the impressed FBB mark. 22 pieces.

Condition

Some very minor and very occasional rubbing to gilding. Circular footed compote: There is a very minor flat chip to the underside of the rim. Sauce tureen and cover: The cover has chipping to an are of approximately half of the inner flange, not visible from the exterior. Square dishes: Generally in good condition. Shell-shaped dishes: One with a very small chip to the underside of the rim. One with some minor yellow discoloration to the green border, possibly caused by stacking. Lobed dish: There is an approximately 4-inch haircrack running across the center of the dish. Dessert plates: Some occasional very minor rubbing to the gilding around the gilt border at the center of the plate. One has a very small rim chip issuing an approximate 5-1/2 inch haircrack running down the rim to the center of the plate. One has an approximate 6-inch by 2-1/2 inch section of the rim broken into two pieces and glued back. Another plate has an approximate 6-inch haircrack running down the rim and across the center. Three with some yellow discoloration to the green border, possibly caused by stacking.
