  • Porcelain
comprising four footed circular compotes, two sauce tureens, covers and fixed stands and thirty-nine dessert plates, thirty-two with printed retailer's marks in red.  47 pieces.

Condition

Footed compotes: A large section (almost half) of the upper bowl has been broken across and riveted back in place. Another compote has a similar riveted break on the upper part (dish part) and additionaly has its foot broken into numerous pieces and restored back. Sauce tureens: The cover of one sauce tureen has been broken off, measuring approximately 5 inches along the rim, and glued back. There is a very small chiop underneath the rim edge. Additionally, the knop of the cover has restorations. Dinner plates: 17 dinner plates, each with very minor, miniscule two or more rim chips to the moulded edges. 9 dinner plates, each with a very minor, miniscule rim chip to the moulded edges. For the most part, these chips are not readily apparent. One dinner plate has an approximate 2-1/2-inch area at the rim broken and restored back as well as one further miniscule chip to the rim edge. Another plate has an approximate 3-inch area at the rim broken into three parts and restored back, issuing a further 3-inch haircrack running down the cavetto. One plate has an approximate 1-inch rimchip that has been restored back; the restoration is mostly underneath the rim edge, and a further minor chip to the moulded rim.
