In the rococo taste, the cartouche shaped asymmetrical frames composed of conjoined C-scrolls, each with a scrolled acanthus leaf and further ornamented with ruffles, icicles and foliate scrolls, each with an exotic bird at the side, the rockwork at the base possibly originally supporting candle arms.
Condition
Good condition with small nicks and wear and chips to gilding at extremities; stable.
