- Porcelain
comprising a fruit cooler, liner and cover, two sauce tureens, covers and attached stands, three oval dishes, one circular dish, two square dishes and fourteen dinner plates, interlaced L's, various date letters and various painters' marks in blue enamel. 27 pieces.
Condition
Fruit cooler, liner and cover: The cooler has a very small, miniscule chip to the gilt rim edge; its three ball feet have been off and glued back.
Two sauce tureens, covers and fixed stands: One sauce tureen has a restored and re-gilt area by the rim measuring 2 inches wide and extending vertically down to the fixed stand, covering a haircrack and possibly a rim chip; there are some residues of overspray in the interior of the tureen.
Three shaped oval dishes: Generally in good condition.
One shaped circular dish: Generally in good condition.
Two shaped square dishes: Generally in good condition.
Fourteen dinner plates: Two plates, each with a very small rim chip.
The fruit cooler with the date mark RF Sèvres in script and painter's mark for Binet.
Sauce tureens with the painter's marks L'Écot and Bouillat.
Oval dishes; two with date marks RF Sèvres, two with painter's marks for Gérard and one with the painter's mark for Taillandier.
Circular dish with the painter's marks for Taillandier and L'Écot.
Square dishes with the date marks RF Sèvres in script and painter's mark for Binet.
Plates; one with the date mark for 1786, one with the date mark for 1775, six with the date mark for 1788 and one with the RF Sèvres mark in script; also four with the painter's marks for L'Écot and Bouillat, one with Bunel, four with Reselle, and one with Fontaine; one plate with the gilder's mark for Weydinger.
