of vase form, deeply engraved with vertical panels of flowers below matching collar, engraved with crest and baron's coronet, bud finial, the interior of the lid with inscription: To Vincent Astor, from members of the New York Yacht Club, a token of their appreciation of his services as Commodore 1928-1929-1930.

a little wear to gilding especially at handles and cover where there are some abrasions, otherwise good condition, nice weight
