Decorated in tones of gold on a black ground, the rectangular top with circular flowerheads or mons, and with a carved giltwood pierced gallery above a decorated molded edge, above a conforming molded pierced frame, decorated with foliate scrolls, the apron pierced and with a scrolled pendant at the center, on turned cabriole legs with claw-and-ball toes similarly decorated.

Condition

Overall fair condition; sturdy; the lacquer in poor condition with lifting throughout; losses to the lacquer to the aprons and edges with lifting; the legs with inpainting and some restorations; in need of sympathetic restoration to lacquer; though it appears to retain almost all of the original lacquer.
